You can't outrun your fate.

Deep in the woods, a girl named Gertrude has been trying to find her way to her grandmother's house.  But every time she tries she's stopped by something.  Traps in the path, warning signs, and many times her own father.  All she wants to do is visit her grandmother, so why is everything standing in her way?  The answer to this will not only shock her, but send her on a dangerous journey to discover her families past, town secrets, and a change within herself.

This is the world of "The Grim," a harsh world with tragic lessons and characters who are not always what they seem.  The goal of this series is to create an animated story that gives the feeling of a live action series with a foreboding coming of age story of a girl doing what she can to survive while tying together a troubling puzzle.
